4/11/19 Chris Knutsen - King county

We've had some back and forth communication with Elissa Kerr the program manager from Beavers northwest. She reached out to Chris Knutsen at king county who works in Water quality. He was interested in some of our information and he was generally helpful.  I talked to him by phone 4/11/19.

I followed up and talked to Chris and sent him a link to this site with a writeup with all the details I have so far. He is also going to reach out to Jen Anderhoof (?) who handles beaver issues at the county and also find out who the contact is for the property and talk to him.

He asked me what I wanted from the county and I told him material help would be nice but most of all I want a solid team of stakeholders working together to solve this problem long term.

He says they are able to waive permit requirements when public infrastructure is threatened. He thought there should be something like that for homeowners. (maybe not?)  He said property impacts is a significant mover with the county. 

He is going to start this ball rolling this week but is super busy next week.
